SALES REPRESENTATIVES

Summary of Business Requirements:

LNG Hub (Pty) Ltd (LNGH) is a start-up company involved in the development of a downstream supply of LNG (Liquid Natural Gas) in Southern Africa.  LNGH is seeking experienced and talented Business Development Managers and Sales Representatives to join the team.

Positions will be based in the following provinces:

  1. Western Cape,
  2. Kwa-Zulu Natal and
  3. Gauteng

Responsibilities for Business Development Managers and Sales Representatives

  • Perform market research to find potential customers that could use LNG as an energy solution
  • Make contact with potential customers to determine their needs
  • Formulate proposals to address customer requirements
  • Partner with management to present proposals to customers with the ultimate goal of signing LNG supply agreements with customers
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential customers
  • Stay current with trends and competitors to identify improvements in the sales proposal
  • Collect and analyse information and prepare sales reports
  • Build and maintain professional networks

Required Competencies for Positions:

  • The candidate should be fluent in English
  • Ability to negotiate
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, desire to deliver results
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations
  • Fast learner and quick thinker
  • Passionate about sales
  • Ability to adapt and grow in a competitive environment and rapidly growing company
  • Have a minimum of 5-years sales experience, preferably in the energy and/or gas industry.
  • Ability to read and write reports and analyse information – mathematically strong. 
  • Strong report writing and presentation skills.
  • Very computer literate on Excel, Word and Power Point.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Own Car
  • Must be able to work overtime or extended hours, if required.
  • Will be required from time to time to attend physical management meetings.

Remuneration Package:

The package is negotiable based on experience and qualifications. The package is split between a basic salary and an incentive based commission structure directly linked to signed LNG supply agreements.
